Project Recap: N58CE 2025 Rans

S-21 Outbound

We recently had the privilege of taking in a brand new 2025 Rans S-21, and this project is truly one-of-a-kind. The owner brought this aircraft to us straight from the build shop, choosing to give it the full Elite Air Service treatment right out of the gate before its first official tour of duty.

The vision for this build combines modern performance with a deep respect for aviation history. The airframe is finished in a lustrous, dark blue that anchors the aircraft’s rugged stance. For the accents, the owner requested vibrant yellow stripes inspired by the iconic markings of WWII-era C-47s and troop gliders.

The Elite Finish

To bring this historical tribute to life, we executed our signature six-step strip and paint process and the result:

• The Base: A saturated, mirror-smooth dark blue that provides incredible depth.

• The Detail: High-visibility yellow invasion-style stripes that pop against the dark airframe.

• The Result: A flawless, factory-floor finish that looks both timeless and brand new.

It’s not every day we get to blend modern utility with such a cool historical touch. This Rans S-21 is now officially ready for service, looking sharp and standing out with a discreet, custom look that honors the past.
