Our Meticulous 6 Step Process
Consultation
In this initial step, we meet with the client to discuss their vision, assess the aircraft’s condition, and provide a customized estimate. Through careful needs discovery and a thorough inspection, we develop a personalized plan to bring your ideas to life.
Stripping
Using a specialized stripping compound, we apply it across the entire surface to be repainted. This compound softens the existing paint, allowing it to melt off and reveal the airframe’s original surface. This essential step prepares the aircraft for a clean, smooth foundation.
Sanding & Prep
With most of the old paint removed, any remaining traces are carefully sanded by hand, ensuring no detail is overlooked. We then inspect the airframe for any necessary repairs, addressing structural integrity before painting, to guarantee a seamless, high-quality finish.
Prime Coat
Next, a prime coat is applied to seal and protect the airframe, creating a perfect surface for paint adhesion. This protective layer helps prolong the durability of the final paint job, ensuring it stands up beautifully over time.
Base Coat and Scheme
Following the customer’s design specifications, we apply the base coat, then add stripes, N-Numbers, and graphics by hand. Each color and detail is meticulously taped and stenciled, a process where our precision truly shines. Our expertise in this step ensures stunning results that will bring joy and pride to our clients for years to come.
Reassembly & Inspection
After the paint is complete, the aircraft is carefully reassembled. We conduct a detailed inspection to confirm every element meets our high standards. Once approved, the aircraft is ready for hand-delivery, where we take pride in presenting a beautifully finished aircraft to our clients.
